A few house rules

We want to make sure that each of our customers enjoys a luxurious, carefree and personalised experience every time they visit one of our salons.

As such we have a couple of salon rules that we ask everyone to respect.

- We ask that you arrive to your appointment in plenty of time for us to get started. All of our appointment slots are booked with careful consideration as to the amount of time your stylist needs to complete your full desired service. If you do arrive late, we will always try our best to offer all of your pre-arranged services but we have to be mindful of all of our clients and so last minute changes might have to be made if we do not have enough time to complete your treatments.

- We ask that all new clients, and those who have not visited us for a colour service within the last 6 months, have a skin test at least 48 hours in advance of their colour appointment. We understand that you may find this frustrating if you regularly colour your hair elsewhere, but we insist on strictly adhering to our colour manufacturer's recommendations.

- We understand that sometimes you book an appointment in advance and when the time comes you may not always be able to make it. If this does happen, please get in touch with your salon as soon as possible and we'll be happy to help you to rearrange your appointment! Ideally we'd like you to contact us at least 24-48 hours in advance so that your appointment can be reallocated to another waiting guest, but we understand that sometimes this is not possible, so please do let us know as soon as you can that you won't be attending!

- Any complaints must follow our procedure, which can be viewed

Do you offer anything for new clients?

Yes! We offer all new clients a £30 wash, cut and blowdry service with any level of stylist including our salon owners. We also offer 30% off your first colour service as a thank you for joining Raw!

Do you have any discount days?

We do! We offer an amazing 40% off colour services every Tuesday!

Do you offer any other discounts?

Yes! We also offer a 25% discount for emergency services professionals and students.

How does the send-a-friend discount work?

If you recommend a friend or family member to your Raw stylist they will receive 50% off of a wash, cut and blowdry service, and as a thank you, so will you! The offer only applies if you and your friend see the same stylist and your friend must come in before you can to receive the discount yourself.

Do I need to have a skin test?

We do ask that all our new clients and returning customers have a quick and easy skin test at least 48 hours in advance of a colour appointment. 

We know that many of you may have been colouring your hair for years by yourself or elsewhere, but we insist on adhering to our colour manufacturer's rules and recommendations. They may seem frustrating but these rules are in place purely for your safety and comfort!

Although you may never have had a reaction to colour in the past, the ingredients vary in all colour products, and as such there's a small risk you could be allergic to an ingredient in our L'Oreal colour products.

Can I still have my hair coloured if I'm pregnant?

Yes you can! However as a precautionary measure, we do perform a fresh skin test on all pregnant clients, just to be on the safe side.

How far in advance should I book?

We don't have any policies as such on when you need to book your appointment, and we even accept walk-in appointments when we have the availability. However, we urge you to keep in mind that many of our stylists can get fully booked up up to 8 weeks in advance, and so we encourage you to secure an appointment as soon as you can!

We'd also encourage you to book well in advance if you're hoping for a Tuesday appointment as many of our guests like to take advantage of our special Tuesday colour service discount!

What products do you use?

We strictly use L'Oreal Professional products across all of our salons because of the consistently excellent results they allow us to achieve.

We have a full range of L'Oreal colour, shampoos and styling products which offer great versatility in our clients' finished looks.

We also sell a selection of our products for home use, including our luxurious Kerastase range, so that you can achieve that salon look on a daily basis.

How do I choose a stylist?

We have a number of highly qualified stylists at each of our salons offering a varied pricing structure, depending on individual experience, meaning that we can cater to everybody's needs. You can choose your stylist based on their particular level or you can ask for a little more information about any of our stylists' specialisms by popping in or giving us a call.


We also offer excellent prices for a full range of services if you choose to come to see one of our future professionals during a training session.

When do you open?

All of our salons are open 6 days a week and we offer late night appointments 4 days a week!

Monday: 9am- 6pm

Tuesday: 9am - 9pm

Wednesday: 9am -9pm

Thursday: 9am - 9pm

Friday: 9am - 8pm

Saturday: 9am - 5:30pm
